In case you forgot because 80 percent of the real estate in your brain has been occupied by Star Wars, there's a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel on the way. Arrow star Stephen Amell plays hockey hero Casey Jones in the upcoming film, and the actor has revealed the first footage from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows — and oh yeah, that's the title.

"Tyler is a well-known remote control enthusiast." Did you know that about Tyler Perry? You didn't? Well, Jimmy Fallon sure did, but that didn't stop the 'Tonight Show' host from attempting -- again! -- to best the Hollywood multi-hyphenate in yet another remote-controlled challenge.

Throughout David Fincher’s adaptation of ‘Gone Girl,’ it was almost as if my subconscious was telling me that this movie shouldn’t be as good as what I was watching. That’s not a slam on Gillian Flynn’s novel (obviously; I haven’t read it), it’s just that the book is presented in such a unique way, which would at least seem almost impossible to pull off – just in a basic book vs. movie sort of way. Look, I understand that this following statement can be said about most movies, but in a less capable director’s hands – and with a less capable cast -- this movie could have easily have been garbage. Actually, this movie should have been garbage.

'Alex Cross' doesn't open until Friday and we just reviewed it unfavorably, but that's not stopping Tyler Perry and book writer James Patterson from finalizing a deal on a sequel called 'Double Cross.'

Reaction to ‘Prometheus‘ was mixed – some people loved it and some people hated it. Well, you can count Tyler Perry as one of the ones who hated it and he’s going to do something about it: he’s going to make his own sci-fi movie. (Yes, we’re still talking about the guy who dresses as the sassy fat old grandma in those movies.)
