Teacher Uses Angry Birds to Explain Projectile Motion to Students

With over 200 million downloads to mobile devices, Angry Birds is a full-fledged phenomenon. Now an Atlanta teacher has found a way to use it as an educational tool as well.

Since the birds are catapulted into the sky, John Burk, a ninth-grade physics teacher, felt it was a great way to teach students the laws of projectile motion.

Fort Hood Shooter Could Face the Death Penalty

The Army has announced that Maj. Nidal Hasan will be tried in a military court and is eligible for the death penalty for his role in a 2009 shooting spree at Fort Hood in Texas.

An attorney for the former military psychiatrist, who's been charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder in connection with the deadly rampage, wanted capital punishment taken off the table. It has not yet been decided whether an insanity defense will be used.

The March issue of the glossy mag, which featured the Canadian pop sensation on its cover, only sold 246,000 copies. According to WWD, this makes it Vanity Fair's lowest selling issue since July of 1999, when it was Will Smith's mug that was repelling potential magazine buyers in airports and supermarket checkout lines.

Casey Anthony Juror Speaks Out: ‘There Wasn’t Enough Evidence’ [VIDEO]

Jennifer Ford, a juror on the Casey Anthony trial, spoke out Wednesday night on 'Nightline.' While Ford said she felt Anthony "had something to do" with the death of her child, she claimed there simply wasn't enough hard evidence to convict.
