March 18, 2013 Congratulations to the Elgin Fire Department Crawds N Rods! They won the third week of our virtual car show with their 1933 Ford Factory 5 that they restored themselves. They now join Jeff Hofferber and Kris Holliday in our "Best in Show" which will be held the week of March 25th!
March 17, 2013 Pinterest is going to be the death of me. It makes me want to redecorate my house, plant a garden, be creative, paint my nails, get married and the worst of all BAKE! In other words, Pinterest is making me FAT! I really am not much of a baker but when I come across a simple recipe I like to try them. I found another one that is perfect for those mornings when you have a house full of guests, like maybe Easter!

They can help push the cattle down the chute; help to bring them in from the pasture; herd them to where you want them. Rowdy is a blue heeler/red heeler mix. Heelers are great cattle dogs! Rowdy is not that dog. He wants to be but, alas, he is not. Bless his heart.

March 7, 2013 Playing at a private show in Nashville last week, Lady Antebellum showcased some of their new songs including "Downtown". They invited their song writing friends to join them on stage to perform their new hit. They jokingly call it "Downtown Abbey" in reference to the PBS series "Downton Abbey".
