After just three episodes, NBC has canceled its new drama ‘The Playboy Club.’

The sexy show, which was set in a 1960s-era Chicago and starred Eddie Cibrian, Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Naturi Naughton, was besieged even before its first airing. It earned a boycott from the Parents Television Council and public scorn from feminist icon Gloria Steinem, both of whom claimed the program objectified and degraded women.

ESPN pulled country star Hank Williams Jr.’s ‘All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Monday Night’ opener from the telecast of ‘Monday Night Football’ after Williams appeared on television comparing President Barack Obama to murderous dictator Adolf Hitler.
