Today's catch of the day comes to us from the nephew of the two founding members of the band Ricochet, and the grandson of a member of Roy Orbison and Waylon Jennings' bands.

Raised in Orange Grove, TX, Chase Bryant grew up in a musical family. Chase is the nephew of Jeff & Junior Bryant, founding members of the band Ricochet, best remembered for their #1 hit "Daddy's Money". He is also the grandson of piano player Jimmy Bryant, who played first for Roy Orbison, and then Waylon Jennings for many years. He takes a book from the page of guitar legend Jimi Hendrix, as though he is a left-handed guitarist, he plays an inverted right-handed guitar. Bryant likes to say that as a kid growing up their were 20 guitars in his small home town, and he owned all of them.

Chase began writing songs at the age of 12 as a way to express himself. Because of his connection to the late Roy Orbison, a meeting was set up with prominent Nashville publisher, and the singer's widow, Barbara Orbison, who signed Chase on the spot. The younger Bryant signed with Red Bow Records in 2013, releasing the single "Take It On Back" which hit the top-20 in 2014 to coincide with the release of a self-titled debut EP. Bryant has toured with Brantley Gilbert, Billy Currington and Tim McGraw throughout 2015.

The second single from the debut EP is in our spotlight today. Your Catch of the Day today is Chase Bryant and "Little Bit of You", new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
