Today's catch of the day can be described in two words that country music fans everywhere understand....Willie and Merle.

When you've been at this as long as Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, nothing phases you. When their latest album, Django and Jimmie debut at the top of the country album chart last week, the pair acted like they had been there before. Probably because they have. For Willie, it was the second time in less than a year that an album had debuted at #1 (Band of Brothers - July 5, 2014), and his 14th overall #1 album. For Haggard, it was the first time he had debuted at the #1 spot, but the 16th time an album had reached the top spot, second in country music history to George Strait's 25. Its the first time in 30 years, 9 months that Haggard reaches the top spot, second only to Johnny Cash's nearly 35 year gap between 1971 and 2006.

When the lead single "Its All Going To Pot" (itself a Catch of the Day) debuted and peaked at #48 in April, it marked the first time since 2010 that Nelson Charted and since 2006 with Haggard. They are back in our spotlight today, with "Unfair Weather Friends" as our Catch of the Day,  new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
