Hobart, Oklahoma is the setting for the 4th Annual Celebration of Freedom this weekend, May 25th-May 28th.  Country Entertainer Neal McCoy makes his second visit to this huge celebration weekend with a concert on Saturday night.

 


The Celebration Of Freedom is the biggest fund raiser of the year for the General Tommy Franks Leadership Institute and Museum.  Funds from this event are used for educational programs throughout the year, Four Star Leadership, Cameron University's Inspired Leadership Experience, and Leadership Presentations and Assemblies on High School Campusus, all presented at no cost to the Schools.

Events begin on Friday with the first 5K night run along with a 1 mile fun run, including a costume contest for the best patriotic costume.  Musical entertainment is presented by Red River Spirits at the Friday Night Street Dance.

Saturday will include a Poker Run, Motorcycle Parade, Wild Hog Fly-In at the Hobart Airport, Freedom Parade, Arts on the Square, Beer Garden, Daisy Airgun Shooting Contest, Book signing by General Tommy Franks and more.

Sunday's Events include a community Worship Service at the Baseball Complex and a new feature this year "Under the Son and Stars" Christian Concert featuring Cloverton.
