Some day I am going to figure out that there is no way to figure out the outcome of the Country Song Showdown before it launches. We have had first timers upset seasoned artists, low budget videos up ending major productions and then there was the week I forgot to load a video.

Last week we put together a video filmed at one of the most picturesque amphitheaters, Red Rock in Colorado against a video shot in a small, intimate club in Nashville. A full band against an acoustic performance. Two former #1 going head-to-head.

And in the end it was Josh Turner's small, intimate, acoustic performance of "Home Town Girl" upending Eric Church's Red Rocks shot video for "Kill A Word"  taking home the title by a 78% to 22% margin in the Country Song Showdown .

Lady Antebellum gets it promised rematch after being hoodwinked by technical difficulties two weeks ago. This time, Lady and "You Look Good" takes on the six-man tag team of Florida Georgia Line and The Backstreet Boys teaming up for "God, Your Mama and Me" in the Country Song Showdown. While I did promise Lady A a rematch, I never promised it would be a breeze.

It's the "God, Your Mama and Lady A" edition of the Country Song Showdown. Head over to our website, watch both videos, and then vote for your favorite in this week's Country Song Showdown. Voting will remain open until noon on Monday, May.
