Its common knowledge in the country music community that Craig Morgan has a heart of gold and a love of adventure. Combine the two and you get an event that puts the fun back in fundraisers.

The 8th Annual Craig Morgan Charity Event benefiting the Dickson County Craig Morgan Foundation took place Sunday, July 20, and. The combination motocross exhibition, group trail ride and superstar concert featured Craig, fellow country stars Tracy Lawrence and Chuck Wicks and motocross athletes Fred Andrews, Randy Hawkins and Kevin Windham were on hand for the festivities. The foundation assists foster children in Dickson County and Middle Tennessee.

Craig, Chuck and Tracy performed an acoustic show at the Dickson War Memorial lawn near Craig’s home, where a live auction was also held that included Kia Soul donated by Universal Kia and a FLY racing helmet hand-painted by Joshua Gray.

The event raised $60,000 for the charity this year, and has become part of a trilogy of fundraising efforts that includes a 5K race held in March and a sporting clay event coming up in October.

To go with all of that, Craig has just released a new single, “We’ll Come Back Around.” Give it a listen!
