"Talladega" is a song co-written and recorded by Eric Church. It is the fourth single from his fourth studio album, The Outsiders. It was released to radio on September 15, 2014. The music video was directed by Peter Zavadil and premiered in December 2014. "Talladega" debuted on the Country Digital Songs chart at No. 29, and Hot Country Songs at No. 41, with 14,000 sold when the album The Outsiders was released in February 2014. After the song was released as a single in September, it debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 90 for the charted dated November 8, 2014. The song has sold 347,000 copies in the US as of January 2015.

A little story from me about racing. A few years ago, the company sent us to Texas Motor Speedway for a programmers meeting. We received a behind the scenes tour of this amazing city! Yes, it has it's own zip code. It's HUGE! We sat in meetings most of the day and then they took us out onto the race track and 7 cars pulled out. We were going for a ride!

We got all suited up in flame resistant suits and pushed our over inflated big ego heads into the race helmets and chose which driver we wanted to ride with. I picked the guy with the gray hair! The others looked like they were about 12!

We went 6 laps around the speedway at speeds topping 160 mph! I didn't breath on the first lap, I peed a little on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th lap and screamed with sheer delight on the 5th and 6th laps. Oh my GOSH that was fun!
