Dylan Scott Marries ‘My Girl’ Inspiration, Blair Anderson

Dylan Scott is a married man!

On Saturday (May 28), Scott wed Blair Anderson in the northeastern Louisiana town of Bastrop, La.

The singer, known for new single "My Girl," has been busy. Leading up to the release of "My Girl," Scott posted a six-part video series on Facebook about his musical journey and the song (and reveals that Anderson inspired the single). He's working on a debut record, and he's heading out on a lengthy tour on June 3 which runs through the end of September--oh, and he managed to tie the knot too.

The couple, according to Scott's Instagram, is honeymooning in Cabo, Mexico.

“This has been 10 years in the making,” he says of his debut album. “A lot of hard work, a lot of tears, a lot of smiles, a lot of growing up. I finally feel like I’ve reached the point where I can share the story. A story that goes all the way back to sophomore year of high school. Just got my first truck, just started writing songs. I was 15. She was 16.”

In “My Girl,” he wrote about the ways he gets to see his girl -- and no one else: her makeup-less face in the morning, how she looks at him, her smile while holding a baby, seeing her pray before going to bed and many more special moments.

“This is a really special song for me, it’s all true,” he shares. “All the lyrics mean something, all the little things that I see that nobody else gets to see. Hopefully this resonates with a lot of people out there that think the same way.”
