The Mayor's Red Dirt Ball sponsored by the Medicine Park Economic Development Authority (MPEDA), the Oklahoma Arts Council and various corporate and private donors, will be held on Memorial Day weekend, May 27th 28th  and 29th  in town center of Medicine Park, Oklahoma. The event is a FREE, family-oriented, celebration of the Red Dirt genre of music. It is planned to draw visitors to the town as they celebrate the holiday weekend. The event will last three days and will feature fifteen acts at four open-air venues around the business district of Medicine Park. A commemorative T-shirt will be available for sale designed by award winning graphic artist Clark Brown displaying Red Dirt based artwork. Food and souvenir vendors will be on site also. Please bring a lawn chair but no ice chests are permitted.
