Team Impact, some of the strongest men on the planet, will be making several public appearances at First Baptist East Church beginning February 22 at 7 p.m.

The appearances will continue each evening at 7 o’clock through February 26 and the public is invited to attend any of the services.

With demonstrations of astounding feats of strength – such as shattering five feet of concrete with one blow from their massive arms and snapping baseball bats in half with their bare hands – Team Impact members are sure to capture the attention of both the young and old; all to share an inspiring message of hope.

Team Impact is a group of world-class athletes, including champion power-lifters, previous WWE wrestlers, and former National Football League players. The men of Team Impact travel the globe motivating and inspiring people of all ages and have performed their amazing presentation in front of millions.

With the problems young people face today, Team Impact has taken seriously the task of reaching America’s youth with a timely message through their highly acclaimed school assemblies. Visiting nearly 1,000 schools each year, this group has the unique opportunity to speak to hundreds of thousands of students about the dangers of drugs, alcohol and the importance of academic excellence.

Representing Team Impact will be Jeff Neal, Marc Minter and Randall Harris.

Neal was once named the National Football League’s strongest man and he has won numerous national and world power lifting titles as well.

Minter has traveled the globe bringing the Good News. Before joining Team Impact, Marc would set up in the apartment areas in the Dallas inner city and hold mini strength exhibitions and crowds would gather and he would share the gospel.

Harris is the 2002 IPF Jr. World Champion in powerlifting when he won the first place title in Sothia, Russia in September of 2002. He was also the national collegiate champion in power lifting having lifted over 2,000 pounds in three lifts.

All three athletes are from the Dallas, Texas area.

Team Impact will be conducting school assemblies at MacArthur Middle School, Sullivan Village Elementary, Carriage Hills Elementary and Pioneer Park Elementary.

The evening performances, which are suitable for the entire family, at First Baptist East, 3302 SE Lee Blvd., are free. An offering will be taken each night.

Child care for children three years of age and under is provided during each performance.
