Your remember your first Bike, don't you?  It was your ticket to the next block, and eventually to the store to buy penny candy, and even to your best friends house for a sleep over.

That feeling is timeless, it's almost a rite of passage for all youngsters.  Sadly, some children don't get to know that feeling.  The feeling of flying down the street on the fastest bicycle ever!  My first two wheel bike came when we lived at Ft. Hood Texas.  We lived in a cul-de-sac so we could ride pretty easily.  My bike had 'eyes'.  That's how it looked when I peeked into the box.  Actually it was headlights, but to a young girl, they sure seemed to look like eyes.  I did have training wheels, because it was the biggest bike I had ever seen.

I remember the first time I got to ride outside of my neighborhood!  What a thrill.

Townsquare Media along with Jim Glover Chevrolet want to help 200 children in Lawton/Fort Sill have that same thrill this Christmas, and you can help.  If you would like to be a part of 'Operation Santa Claus', be listening to our stations beginning Thursday at 11am.  Be a part of something historical, a child's first bike!
