Tickets for Garth Brooks' September 4th Opening Night performance in Chicago went on sale this morning. Demand was so great that Garth's stay in the Chicagoland area quickly grew to 4 shows. And then 6. And then 8.

As it currently stands, Garth will be performing 10 shows the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL. Though stay tuned: the number of shows has been changing all morning, we may not be done yet, as the arena in the Chicago area actually has three weeks open on its schedule, starting Sept. 4.

The ten Garth Brooks concert dates are all listed below, and are the first dates on the country superstar’s recently announced world tour. Further dates and cities have not been revealed, but they likely will be announced soon, so again, stay tuned for updates. Trisha Yearwood is slated to open for her hubby on the tour.

Brooks is also expected to release a new single to radio soon, possibly as early as Monday. And during his July 10 press conference he said a new studio album would hit stores later this year, and that digital versions of all his previous albums would be available soon as well, also possibly Monday. This release is expected to lift Brooks past Elvis Presley on the all time sales list, making him the all-time best selling single artist in music history. It would leave him second on the all-time list to only the Beatles in total sales.
