OK, I admit it, I am not a huge fan of dressing up my pets, but you have to admit some of the Halloween costumes that people come up with for their pets are, dare I say it? ADORABLE!  Here are some of my favorite pet costumes of all time.

To even get a cat to wear a costume they must have HAD to get her drunk.

    Spaghetti and Meatballs - SERIOUSLY?

I literally laughed out loud at this one.

"Baxter is wearing a homemade spaghetti and meatball costume. I used a red t-shirt as tomato sauce. For his costume, I took a string mop and dyed it yellow for spaghetti. The meatballs are styrofoam balls painted brown and hot glued on to the spaghetti! His headpiece is made with some extra pieces of mop and another meatball!"

    Blue Dasher 'Dog'onfly

Dragonflies have become very popular lately.  How could you pass up dressing your favorite Chihuahua as the cutest little blue 'dog'onfly?  Here is what the owner had to say about the costume

"Zoey, our 8 week old Chihuahua and Rat Terrier mix, is wearing a homemade Blue Dasher 'Dog'onfly costume. I love dragonflies, especially the beautiful blue ones so I decided to make Zoey a costume that would transform her into one of these mystic creatures. I bought a pair of childrens fairy wings for $3.99 at my local grocery store. I cut the wings off of the felt center, shortened and reshaped them to look more like dragonfly wings and to better fit Zoey's size (she weighs 2lbs. 10 ozs.)then reattached them to the felt center. I purchased a pair of womens bright blue fluffy socks for $3.99 to use for the body. I cut the banded section off the top of the sock for the 'dog'onfly head. I trimmed and split open the remainder of the sock for the body. I stuffed the body with cotton balls and hot glued the edges of the material together to hold them inside. I wrapped and tied blue thread around the body in multiple sections to create body segments. I hot glued the body and head pieces to the felt center of the wings. I cut the extra material from the wings into two pieces to make the eyes. I put two cotton balls in the center of each piece of material and hot glued together then glued to the top of the headpiece."

It's Not All About Dogs & Cats

It can't all be about cats and dogs right? Lots of people have all different kinds of pets. I thought these guinea pigs were so cute. It made me want to get one.
