Hank Williams III says his family's blood is American through and through, and they believe only a true American should portray his legendary grandfather. The grandson of the legendary Hank Williams says that producers of an upcoming biopic should have considered the family when they cast Brit Tom Hiddleston to play the legendary country crooner. Hiddleston's best known for his role as Loki in "The Avengers." He also appeared in 2011's "War Horse", "The Deep Blue Sea" & "Midnight In Paris."

Hank Sr., known for hits like "Your Cheatin' Heart" and "Hey Good Lookin'', died Jan. 1, 1953 at age 29. Hank 3 suggests Matthew McConaughey as Hank because Matt represents the South both in movies and real life.  He also uses "The Dallas Buyers Club" as an example of  Matt's 'acting chops' showing his ability to get the job done.
