If there's anyone who should love the Fourth of July, it's Hillary Scott. The Lady Antebellum singer has had some amazing experiences on America's birthday, including her own engagement!

Scott has been celebrating July 4th with her family on a lake in east Tennessee for as long as she can remember, and one of the most momentous occasions of her life happened on that very lake around that very day in 2011 when her now-husband, Chris Tyrrell, proposed.

“For many, many years in a row, we would be up at the lake for Fourth of July, and having those memories of being on the boat and going tubing and skiing and enjoying being out in the summertime, great weather on the water," Scott says. "But, then for me, Fourth of July was when Chris proposed."

She continues, "So, I got proposed to on July 2 up at the lake, the same lake I grew up going to, and so that’s probably the biggest highlight of Fourth of July to me – getting a rock on my hand."

Scott and her Lady A bandmates have been basking in the success of their latest single, 'Bartender,' lately, and the songstress has been basking in the first year with her daughter, who just so happened to be born in July as well.

Hopefully, Scott will be able to start making Fourth of July memories at the lake with Eisele in 2014!
