I like to think that I am pretty ordinary in most cases, but when it comes to Christmas, I may in fact be extraordinary. I love to decorate and on occasion I leave my decorations up a tad longer than most people.

Last year, my Christmas tree stayed up in the corner until June.  Wait!  I have a really good reason.  My son Tyler was deployed to Africa and wasn't expected home until June or July.  So, since we didn't have Christmas, I thought I would leave it up and have Christmas when he came home.  The funny thing, I ended taking it down a couple of weeks before he came home anyway because all of the lights went out on it!
