Jeri Anderson’s Top 5 Favorite New Country Songs

I totally love the new Luke Bryan. Great follow-up to the "Boom Boom" song! The whole CD is full of songs that you can sing too. I think that Jake Owen is like Blake Shelton was a few years ago. He has turned the corner from being just another singer to being a country star. The music from Jake Owen just keeps getting better and better. I don't know much about John Pardi, but I do know that I love this new song! Great tune, great beat! I love how the Eli Young Band's "Say Goodnight" starts like a Broadway show song! My son actually told me about this song even before I heard it hear. Great song! I think my last list had Rascal Flatts as number two or three, but after the video came out, it moved right up the list. The lyrics are key for me in this song. Opening line says it all, ' I can usually drink you right off my mind, but I miss you tonight." Wow, how powerful! There are lots more great lines in the song too. It's a song that I will always turn up on the radio. What new song do you like best? Did I leave out one of your new favorites?
