For Kenny Chesney, its all about playing for the fans. And if you’ve missed seeing Kenny live, August 16th is the day he hits the beach at the legendary Flora-Bama bar for his first show in a year.
Located on the Redneck Riviera right at the intersection of Orange Beach, Ala., and Perdido Key, Fla., the Flora-Bama is one of the South’s great coastal landmarks. Kenny’s show at the bar is being dubbed the “Flora-Bama-Jama,” and presumably fans will get to hear “American Kids” and other new music from his upcoming album, The Big Revival, due out Sept. 23.

“To me, a place like the Flora-Bama is all about kicking back, being with your friends and not worrying about a thing . . . Just hang out and be easy,” says Kenny in a release. “I love that it’s on a border, that it’s on a beach, that it’s like the best bar anywhere people get together and just be! It’s everything the notion of The Big Revivalis built on: taking that time to regroup, replenish, then re-engage with the passion of being truly, absolutely alive.”

Details on ticketing for the show is available on Kenny’s website.
