With the whirlwind of a year Miranda Lambert has had, she could hardly be blamed for wanting to unplug and take it easy for awhile. Give the girl credit for gumption, though — not only is she not clearing her schedule, she’s actually adding to it.

Lambert has extended her The Revolution Continues tour, adding 20 dates to a run that was supposed to end in August, but will now keep her on the road through late October.

“The revolution continues but not for too much longer,” she said in a statement. “This is the last leg of the tour. We have had so much fun and have had so many great bands come out to join us and some great artists, as well. Don’t miss your last chance to see us on the road this year.”

Even after the tour ends, Lambert fans will have no shortage of options this year — she’s releasing a solo album, ‘Four the Record,’ in November, as well as the debut from her new country girl group, Pistol Annies, due at the end of this month.
