Randy Travis knows country music, and he knows what he likes. He puts his taste into his recently-launched Diggin’ Up Songs playlist, and you know the artists who make the cut are worthwhile.

This week, it’s all about the girls. In fact, Travis hand-picked some country powerhouses, including Carrie Underwood. Her new song “Cry Pretty" debuts on his playlist this week, as does Kelsea Ballerini’s “I Hate Love Songs” and newcomer Kalie Shorr’s “Two Hands.” This week’s list is rounded out by Chris Janson’s “Drunk Girl” and “Women, Amen” by Dierks Bentley.

Now that’s a lineup!

Since debuting this curated playlist in March, Travis has showcased a number of country music’s biggest stars, including Blake Shelton, Scotty McCreery and Chris Young.

“Though Randy may not be able to perform right now, his love and affinity for music stands strong. We like to say he is ‘singing a new song’ and spending his time giving back to the community and supporting fellow artists — streaming is a great new outlet to do just that,” says Travis’ wife Mary Davis-Travis in a press release.

But what might be even cooler is the fact that the Country Music Hall of Famer and Grand Ole Opry member also includes his share of lesser-known artists in the mix, including Cody Jinks and Heidi Ray.
