Ray Stevens ‘Misty’ KLAW Classic [VIDEO]

It's birthday #72 for Classic Country artist Ray Stevens.  Stevens is know for some great humorous songs, including Ahab the Arab, The Streak, and more, but he also had success with serious songs.  Today's KLAW Classic, 'Misty' was written in 1954 as an instrumental.  Lyrics were added later and it became a signature song for Johnny Mathis, and covered by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn and Frank Sinatra.  In 1975 Ray Stevens won a Grammy for his arrangement of 'Misty'.  Stevens hit #3 on the Country Charts with today's KLAW Classic in 1975 as well.
