Seriously? Rich Parents Using Handicapped Tour Guides to Avoid Lines at Disney World
The lines at Disney Land can be pretty brutal, especially during school holidays.
But it turns out if you have enough cash you can assure your child will jump right on Splash Mountain, no matter what time of the year. What? There is another way to get a jump on the crowds in the Mouse House?
According to the New York Post, wealthy individuals are hiring handicapped tour guides when they take their kids to the Magic Kingdom or other Disney properties in Orlando. The guides then pose as family members, since Disney allows those with disabilities to cut to the front of the line.
The disabled guides are hired through groups such as Dream Tours Florida. They offer the services for a charge of $130 an hour, or $1,040 for the day. If you were to book a VIP service through Disney to get the same treatment, it would cost you over $300 an hour.
What do you think? Is there no one left in this world who will not do anything to get ahead?
