Country’s funny man Blake Shelton kicked off the 2011 CMA Awards in Nashville, but fortunately, he didn’t take the stage to do stand-up. The reigning Male Vocalist of the Year rocked viewers and his peers with a remade version of the 1984 movie hit ‘Footloose,’ but not without a little help from the original recording artist, Kenny Loggins.

When you go behind the scenes with Blake Shelton, you know you are in for a laugh. Or two. Or 20. The singer took fans inside his world when filming the video for his cover of ‘Footloose,’ which coincided with the remake of the film. Blake Shelton won’t be easing into 2012. The country superstar and ‘The Voice’ mentor is kicking off a headlining tour before returning to the revolving seat on NBC’s hit reality show. Shelton announced this morning that he’ll bring Justin Moore and Dia Frampton on the road with him this January through March on his Well Lit and Amplified Tour, which will hit 27 cities.

The trailer for the highly anticipated ‘Footloose’ remake finally hit the Internet this week, offering fans a first look at this modern day take on a Kevin Bacon classic. The premise for 2011′s ‘Footloose’ is relatively similar to the original: city boy Ren MacCormack (Kenny Wormald) moves to small-town Bomont, where a car crash that killed five teens has led local politicians to ban minors from d
