The country music star showed off her kitchen skills on the Food Network this spring in a six-episode series called ‘Trisha Yearwood’s Southern Kitchen.’ The first season of the show was just a test run, but as it turns out, cooking fans love the ‘She’s in Love With the Boy’ hitmaker just as much as country music fans — the show has been renewed for a second season.

Trisha Yearwood will be joining forces with other artists from a variety of genres to perform in the benefit show, A Celebration of Paul Newman’s Dream, on April 2. In the company of fellow performers Paul Simon and Josh Groban, among others, Yearwood will take the stage of New York City’s Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center for the show that will benefit Paul Newman’s Association of Hole in the Wall Camps.
