Throwback Thursday - Thanks for the Awesome Memories!

It's Thursday, one of my favorite days of the week to stalk social media. I love seeing all of the pictures that people post of themselves back in the 'good ole days'.

Throwback Thursday is defined by Urban Dictionary as:

When you put a picture from a "while" ago on your social media sites.

I love it. For me, I get to reminisce of my childhood, and summers spent with my cousins at my Grandmother's house. She was the storybook Grandma. She took us for nature walks, read us books like 'Huckleberry Finn, and 'Moby Dick', and taught us skills like sewing and crochet. I truly believe that my love of reading came from those summers. We played outside all day in bare feet, and came in tired and dirty at the end of the day. Kind of reminds me of a Country Time Lemon-aid commercial!

Throwback Thursday could have been the inspiration for a new app for your social media sites, Timehop. Timehop is 'A time capsule of you'. You can see what you were doing exactly 1, 2, 3 even 4 years ago today.

I hope you take some time today to remember the times past, whether you post them on Facebook or Twitter or not!
