2010 Miranda Lambert Builds A House at the CMA's
Miranda Lambert receives 5 nominations for the 44th annual Country Music Association awards on the first of two days of nominee announcements. She would end up with 10 nominations overall. Three are for "White Liar," (Single, Video and Song of the Year), three for "The House That Built Me" (Song, Single and Video of the Year) and one each for Album of the Year ('Revolution'), Musical Event of the Year ("Bad Angel" with Dierks Bentley & Jamey Johnson), Female Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.
In only one catagorie in which she was eligible (Musician of the Year), did Miranda not receive at least one nomination. She would end up taking home four awards: Song and Video of the Year for "The House That Built Me", Album of the Year for 'Revolution' and the award for Female Vocalist of the Year.
1994
Clay Walker earns his first platinum album with his self-titled debut. The album contains the singles "What's It to You", "Live Until I Die" and "Dreaming With My Eyes Open", which all reached Number One. Respectively, these were the first, second, and fourth singles from the album. The third single, "Where Do I Fit in the Picture", peaked at #11.
Additionally, "White Palace" peaked at #67 based on unsolicited airplay.

Jeannie C. Riley makes her Grand Ole Opry debut. She would perform her smash hit "Harper Valley PTA."
