5 Most Haunted Places in the Lawton Area
Everywhere you go, people will tell you of places that are haunted or reported to be haunted. We have discovered five of the most haunted places in the Lawton area that truly are creepy.
In the middle of the day, it is reported that in restrooms, lights have been turned on and off with no one near the light switch. Also doors have opens and radios have been turned on by themselves. Map it.
This area was notorious around the turn of the 20th century for hijackings and murders. People say on some nights if you listen real close you can hear the racing of the horses as they head out of the creek area into the hollow towards their next victim. Map it.
Screams from a female have been reported near the tower by the lake. The tower has been closed for many years. Prior to the closing, people reported while walking the stairs they felt the presence of another being next to them. Map it.
This forest was built during the dust bowl. It runs very deep and is haunted by shadows at night. Many kids have gone into the forest never to be seen again. The area is extremely cold and quiet when you enter and there are always eyes watching you. Map it.
The cemetery is still in use today by the association of the Tucker family. Old man Tucker went insane in the late 1800's killing his wife, kids and mother and buried them in the cellar. They reportedly roam the cemetery at night and there are strange red lights that shine from time to time. Map it.
