American Music Awards: Kelly Clarkson Singing With Pink, Florida Georgia Line With Bebe Rexha
The 2017 American Music Awards are stacked with A-list performers, including Kelly Clarkson and Florida Georgia Line.
Both artists will appear as part of collaborations. Clarkson is opening the show with Pink, marking the first time the two will perform together. FGL will join forces for a duet with Bebe Rexha on her new hit "Meant to Be," which appears on her 2017 EP, All Your Fault: Part 2. "Working with a country group is such a fresh experience for me, and it taught me one thing: a great song, no matter the style," Rexha tells Billboard about collaborating with Florida Georgia Line.
Pink's duet with Clarkson comes fresh off her performance at the 2017 CMA Awards, where she wowed the crowd with her touching song, "Barbies."
Country music is also well represented in the award categories, with Garth Brooks scoring a nomination for Tour of the Year alongside music giants U2 and Coldplay. FGL are also up for Favorite Duo or Group — Country along with Little Big Town and Old Dominion. Keith Urban, Sam Hunt , Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett and more have also earned nominations in the various country categories.
2017 has been a busy year of collaborations for the superstar duo FGL, who've not only made music with Rexha, but also the Chainsmokers and Hailee Steinfeld. They've continued their professional friendships with the Backstreet Boys and Nelly.
