When Does 2018 ‘CMA Country Christmas’ Air? Everything You Need to Know
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Or, the beginning of November, anyway—which for many holiday enthusiasts is a perfectly suitable time to start thinking about everything holly jolly.
That includes the 2018 CMA Country Christmas TV special, which is actually not too far off—especially with how fast the calendar seems to move at this time of year. It will air on Dec. 10 at 8PM ET on ABC.
The show will feature Reba McEntire in her second year as host. She took over the role from Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles, who'd hosted for seven years (since the show began), and she's thrilled to be back for another season.
“I’ve always cherished celebrating Christmas alongside family and friends, taking time to reflect on the season,” the star notes. “I’m so excited CMA invited me back to host their show and am looking forward to some fun singing carols with my friends.”
Quite a few of her friends will be showing up, indeed. The show has Tony Bennett, Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Amy Grant, Diana Krall, Dustin Lynch, Martina McBride, Old Dominion, Brad Paisley, Michael W. Smith, Lindsey Stirling, the Isaacs and Brett Young on tap; all of whom were taped Sept. 27, at Nashville's Belmont University.
Last year's show had McEntire singing several songs, including a memorable rendition of "Mary, Did You Know" with Little Big Town.
