Adam Hood finds himself in the unfortunate circumstance of being buried alive in his latest music video for "She Don't Love Me." The song, which he penned with Brent Cobb and Texas star Josh Abbott, details the end of a relationship where a man tries to rise above the heartbreak.

“She stole my heart, killed my pride, but she can’t put me in the ground,” Hood sings in the chorus.

The three-minute video tells a very different story, though. In the clip, Hood is in the passenger seat with his ex driving down the open road. They pull over and head for an open field where she's been digging a big hole. As he looks at the view she grabs her shovel and hits him over the head. Unconscious and lying in the crevice below, his ex quite literally puts him in the ground as she shovels dirt atop his body.

The song features guest vocals by Cobb, and as the music video's storyline develops, the two friends are seated on stage in a dive bar singing the tune. The music video takes a happy turn and finds Hood fighting his way through the dirt and back to the highway. He then makes his way to the bar, where Cobb is surprised to find his friend covered in dirt. Hood shrugs things off and they laugh over a beer.

"She Don't Love Me" is the lead single from Hood’s forthcoming album, Somewhere In Between, out Oct. 12. The singer/songwriter has penned songs for Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town and Lee Ann Womack, and is currently on a headlining tour throughout the fall.
