Alabama ‘Song of the South’ KLAW Classic [VIDEO]

Today's KLAW Classic celebrates a Gold Album for the super group Alabama.  On this day in 1989 their 'Southern Star' was certified Gold.  The album gave us several  #1 songs including, the title track 'Southern Star', 'High Cotton', and 'If I had You', and today's KLAW Classic 'Song of the South', previously recorded by Bobby Bare, Johnny Russell, Tom T. Hall, and Earl Scruggs before reaching the top spot with Alabama.

Here's the Bobby Bare version!  It sounds like a completely different song!
