A popular Oklahoma travel Facebook group recently compiled the state's best chicken fried steak, fried chicken and fried catfish! This list is all based on recommendations from Oklahomans themselves so you know it's gotta be good.

Oklahoma is known for many things - tornadoes, football and tigers, just to name a few. But the Sooner State is also known for its food, like the onion burger and, of course, its state meal, the chicken fried steak.

All Oklahomans have their opinion on where people can get the best chicken fried steak in the Sooner State. So people who know will tune in to the Oklahoma Day Trips Facebook group to get the best recommendations for anything from entertainment to food in Oklahoma. With almost half a million group members, you'll be getting great recommendations from across Oklahoma!

Recently, a member of the group put together a list of 500 to 1,000 recommendations for the best chicken fried steak, fried chicken and fried catfish in the state of Oklahoma. All of these recommendations came from various Oklahoma Day Trips Facebook group users.
