Blood Drive set in Lawton for Wednesday May 15th

Liberty National Bank will sponsor a blood drive for the Oklahoma Blood Institute on Wednesday, May 15. 2019. This event will take place, first, at the 4005 W. Gore Blvd. branch from 8:30-10:30 a.m., and then move to the the downtown branch at 629 SW C Ave. from 1-4 p.m.

According the the Oklahoma Blood Institute, every two seconds someone needs blood.  Only ten percent of people in the United States who are eligible to give blood actually do.  Patients rely on blood to survive emergency injury or illness, or for ongoing treatment for cancer and other life-threatening diseases and conditions.

'The holidays create a strain on the need for blood and, with Memorial Day just around the corner, we want to do our part to help.' states Liberty National Bank Marketing Director, Cindy Coleman.
