After the 'Blown Away' singer herself recently hinted at a possible appearance at the upcoming American Music Awards, Dick Clark Productions has confirmed that Carrie Underwood will be performing at the awards show on November 18.

Underwood, along with pop star Pink and rapper Pitbull, will join the lineup of already announced performers that includes Taylor Swift, singer and 'American Idol' judge Nicki Minaj, rock band Linkin Park and pop star/'The Voice' coach Christina Aguilera.

Country's own Underwood is even nominated for Favorite Female Artist - Country and Favorite Album - Country for her 2012 release, 'Blown Away,' at the show. The 40th Annual American Music Awards will air Sunday, Nov. 18 at 8PM ET on ABC.

Underwood is fresh off of her hosting duties at the 2012 CMA Awards alongside Brad Paisley and is currently on the road for her Blown Away Tour, which has dates scheduled through December 2012 and into 2013.
