
Chickasha Festival Of Light Will Open On November 20
One of the most popular holiday light displays in Oklahoma is the Chickasha Festival of Light! This year's, the Chickasha Festival of Light is set to open on November 20.
The Chickasha Festival of Light features over four million holiday lights in various holiday displays and more! The festival also features other fun, holiday attractions, like a Ferris wheel, carnival rides, camel rides, ice skating, carriage rides, pictures with Santa, food trucks and more.
In 2024, the Chickasha Festival of Light was voted as the number six on USA Today's list of the best public holiday light displays in the country! This year, the Chickasha Festival of Light will celebrate 33 years.

Chickasha has coined itself 'Christmas Town USA.'
There's no doubt that Chickasha loves Christmas! Over the past couple of years, Chickasha has coined itself "Christmas Town USA." Chickasha has had the very popular Festival of Light for over 30 years. And it has famously added a gigantic leg lamp statue to its downtown!
People have made pilgrimages from all over the country and the world to see the 40-foot recreation of the iconic leg lamp from "A Christmas Story." Chickasha even has home rentals inspired by the holiday classic that people can stay in. Plus, a new documentary is coming out about Chickasha's journey with its famous leg lamp.

If you're planning on visiting Chickasha this holiday season, you'll definitely want to go when the Festival of Light opens on November 20. The Festival of Light will be open from November 22 through December 31. People can enjoy the festival from 6-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 6-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The Chickasha leg lamp is open 24/7 for visitors and is located at the intersection of 1st Street at Chickasha Avenue.
