An 8-year-old received the opportunity of a lifetime when he got to sing onstage with Chris Stapleton.

Vedder Gabriel was attending Stapleton's show at the Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix, Ariz. on Friday (May 19) and got the best surprise ever when he was brought on stage to sing Stapleton's signature hit, "Tennessee Whiskey," with the singer himself. Before taking the stage, Vedder can be seen talking with Stapleton's wife, Morgane backstage, who brings him out to make his debut. Vedder, rocking a light-up T-shirt and mohawk, nails the classic country song, giving Stapleton a run for his money.

The young man helps the country superstar and his wife sing the chorus, even hitting the high notes like a champion and singing solo at one point, warranting enthusiastic cheers from the crowd. The young boy closes out the memorable performance with a bow before Stapleton gives him his guitar pick after they leave the stage.

"Vedder had a tough week with the passing of one of his favorite artists Chris Cornell. It was destiny that KMLE Country 107.9 upgraded our seats to Pit Passes and the rest is history," his mom writes in a Facebook post along with the video. "Our son has been singing since before he could talk and his whole world is music. Thanks to Chris Stapleton and his beautiful wife Morgane Stapleton for creating such an amazing moment for Vedder."

George Strait recently made one of his own fan's wishes come true when he invited Chase Pair of Little Rock, Ark. to one of his 2 Nights of No. 1s show in Las Vegas in April of 2017. Pair will soon go deaf due to a birth defect and it was his dream to meet the country legend.
