In celebration of songwriter Ashley Gorley's birthday, I chose Brad Paisley's "American Saturday Night" for my daily digital download. The song was written by Ashley and was released in November of 2009 and peaked at #2 on the Billboard country charts.
Songwriter Ashley Gorley was born in Danville, Kentucky. He also wrote hits for Trace Adkins' "You're Gonna Miss This," Carrie Underwood's "Good Girl," Jana Kramer's "Why Ya Wanna" and Brad Paisley's "American Saturday Night".
