Daily Digital Download: Gary Allan ‘The One’ [VIDEO]

I chose this song from Gary Allan for my #DailyDigitalDownload today because when he released the song in 2002 I had just met David. I was coming out of a very bad relationship and he was there for me but never pushed me. I was sitting on the sofa one night and he called me and said "Nan! Turn on CMT and watch the video playing right now by Gary Allan!" then he hung up the phone.

After the song was over I just sat for awhile and cried. 13 years ago tomorrow David asked me to be his lifelong Valentine and I said YES! We will celebrate 12 years of marriage this November. I am happy to say that he is THE ONE!

If you are still searching for that one person you want to spend the rest of your life with let me give you a little advice. Find someone that isn't exactly like you but makes you laugh every day. I mean gut laugh! My husband is the quiet one but when he finally says something it is so off the wall it cracks me up!

We respect each other, we support each other, he listens to me complain all the time about things going on in my 'other' life. Never judges me, just listens (or at least he makes me think he's listening!). I hope you have found, or will find, THE ONE!
