Diary of a Snow Day/Work Day in Lawton, Oklahoma
When you live in Oklahoma, you really don't expect to get snowed in very often. In fact, it was just about a year ago that we had any measurable amount of snow, that caused grief on our Lawton roads.
With a forecast that hints of snow again in the next week, I'd like to give you a glimpse of what a Snow/Workday looks like for the Morning Crew's Jeri Anderson.
I'm pretty confident that winter is behind us now, and we won't see any accumulation at all next week, but, I can dream of a White Thursday if I want to!
Whether we see any more snow in Oklahoma this Winter or not, there are some ways you can prepare for severe weather. I know, I know, we are just about a month shy of spring, or at least the end of Daylight Savings Time, but, file this little tidbit away for a future Snow Day! And, yes, these folks are real survivors! I don't think I've ever seen so much food stock piled outside of a grocery store! Maybe take all of this advice with a grain or two of salt!
Just looking at all of that frozen stuff makes me cold! I'm ready for my pool, and Oklahoma's 90 temperatures! Bring on Spring!
