Donkey Basketball in Geronimo Tonight!

this isn't the coolest way to raise money, I don't know what else it would be!  Donkey Basketball is in Geronimo, OK tonight!

The Geronimo Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary is hosting Donkey Basketball as a fundraiser for the Fire Department.  The last time Geronimo saw this kind of Donkey action was over 20 years ago. Door at Geronimo Elementary School Gymnasium open at 6:30 with the fun starting at 7.  Proceeds from this event will benefit more community events and to help feed firefighters after or during runs to fight fires.

Donkeys are supplied by Buckeye Donkey Ball.  There are 11 donkeys with 8 being used at a time on the court.  The teams tonight will consist of Volunteer Firefighters, Geronimo Faculty and Alumni, plus Employees of Milo Gordon Auto Mall, one of the sponsors of this event.

I'm not sure it matters who wins or loses the actual game, The treat will be seeing who can stay on the donkey and even make it close to the goal.  No video will be allowed during the games.
