Dwayne Johnson is the gift that keeps on giving. Not only does the actor continue to produce some of the best action movies around, but he also keeps fans entertained between releases by sharing incredible behind-the-scenes footage and images from his movies. This was the case with The Fate of the Furious and the upcoming Jumanji sequel, and now Johnson is at it again with Rampage, his 2018 movie based on the popular video game franchise of the same name.

On his Instagram page (via The Wrap), Johnson shared some new photos of himself choking out an unfortunate soldier  —  it’s his own fault for pissing off The Rock, really  —  as well as he and Naomie Harris’ characters getting led off in handcuffs. It’s always worth it to read Johnson’s alpha photo captions; yessir, we’re also ready for you to do some “real hero sh-- ” in the film as well.

As fun as they may be, these photos don’t answer the million dollar question: will we get to see giant CGI Dwayne Johnson? The three main creatures in Rampage  —  George, the giant gorilla; Lizzie, the giant lizard; and Ralph, the enormous werewolf  —  are all former humans who were transformed through a series of industrial and scientific accidents. And while it sounds like New Line Cinema will make some pretty significant changes to the video game’s, uh, non-story, there’s still the hope that we’ll see Dwayne Johnson turn into a rage monster the size of a small building. I mean, isn’t that what his characters have been trending towards anyways?

It’s also worth pointing out that Rampage’s cast, while not being the most obvious group of headliners, may be one of the more talented and fun groups for any blockbuster movie. In addition to Johnson and Harris, Rampage will star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman, and Joe Manganiello. Keep an eye out your apartment window for monsters; the film is set to be released on April 20, 2018.
