Happy Birthday Lawton!

Mayor Fred Fitch is pleased to invite the public to Lawton’s Birthday Reception and Ceremony to be held in the Banquet Hall at City Hall (212 SW 9th St.) on Thursday, August 3 at 5:30 pm. During the ceremony there will be three important recognitions. The Lawton Award in Excellence recognizing the contributions of Gilbert “Gib” Gibson. This special award is presented by the Mayor to an individual who exemplifies outstanding excellence in service to community, state, and nation. Both the Lawton Rangers and the Pioneer Women’s Club will be recognized for 79 years of service to our community.
