There are many things to love about springtime in Oklahoma, but some of the best springtime activities are annual festivals! One of my favorites is the Festival of the Arts in downtown Oklahoma City.

This year will be the 57th annual Festival of the Arts hosted by Arts Council Oklahoma City. Festival of the Arts will take place April 25-30 at the Bicentennial Park in downtown Oklahoma City. The festival is a community celebration of all artforms and brings a variety of talented artists to downtown Oklahoma City.

See hundreds of artists and performers at Festival of the Arts in downtown Oklahoma City!

The festival will feature 144 artists from around the world, over 100 performances on multiple stages and food from over 20 food vendors. This festival is a great activity for the whole family! There will be plenty of hands-on art opportunities for kids, including face painting, pottery, youth art sale and so much more.

If you love live music, then the Festival of the Arts is for you!

This festival also offers A LOT of live music and entertainment! The festival has several stages and every hour of the festival has different live music and entertainment going on. A full list of performances is available on the festival's website.

Go for the art, stay for the food!

And you can't forget about all of the DELICIOUS food vendors at the Festival of the Arts. The festival will have several food vendors and food carts for you to try! A full list of the festival's food vendors is available on the festival's website. Someone in the festival's video below had a big cookie dipped in chocolate and I MUST have it.

Unique Things to Do in Oklahoma City

There is no shortage of things to do in OKC. While there are a handful of things everyone knows about--OKC Zoo, Myriad Gardens, Bricktown, etc-- there are even more lesser-known places to experience one-of-a-kind Oklahomaness. Some things cost a little money, others are completely free, but it's all fun for the whole family.

Oklahoma's Award Winning Restaurants and Bars

Over the past decade, several Oklahoma restaurants and bars have been recognized nationally for their innovative cuisine, cocktails and longstanding dedication to serving quality drinks and dishes to their fellow Oklahomans.
