Watch George Strait and Friends’ All-Star ‘Hand in Hand’ Performance
George Strait, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen joined together for an all-star performance to close out Tuesday night's (Sept. 12) Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief telethon. Together, the five artists performed Strait's hits “If It Wasn’t for Texas" and "I Believe.”
Matthew McConaughey introduced Strait and company's performance, which took place at San Antonio, Texas' Majestic Theatre. Other Hand in Hand telecast events took place at California's Universal Studios, New York City's Times Square and Nashville's Grand Ole Opry. Blake Shelton hosted the Music City portion of the evening.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, former Nashville star Connie Britton, Shelton‘s girlfriend Gwen Stefani, Keith Urban‘s wife Nicole Kidman and more were also among those participating in Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief events.

Since Hurricane Harvey hit Texas in late August, a number of country artists have stepped up to help raise money for and find other ways to support those affected. Artists are also doing what they can to help those in the Caribbean and Florida affected by Hurricane Irma.
