Grannie Girls Rock Retirement Recital In Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

As a certified Nana, I spend a lot of time at my grandkids' activities and performances. Whether it's a dance recital, choir concert or baseball game, their Nana is always there rooting for them. And I will admit, sometimes these activities or performances can be... boring. So when I saw a recent dance recital in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, with the little dancers dressed as some of their grannies in the audience, I just had to share.

Oklahoma TikTok user @hannahgraymer posted a video of her niece's recent dance recital at Broken Arrow Dance Academy. And let's just say it wasn't your typical dance recital. Usually, the dancers are in sparkly leotards and their hair is slicked back in a bouncy ponytail. But for this particular performance, the dancers wore miniature moo-moos, gray wigs, fake glasses, stockings, clunky shoes and had walkers as their props. Definitely not your usual dance recital outfit.

The best part is that they were dressed like this for a hip-hop routine, and they even incorporated the walkers into their dance. It's hilarious. Watch below!

Even though the outfits were phenomenal, it was the girls' dancing that was the best part of the show.
