New Student Salon Opens At Great Plains Technology Center

Lawton just gained a new salon! Earlier this week, the Great Plains Technology Center announced that the tech center's cosmetology salon is now open. The salon offers hair, nail and skin services by students at affordable pricing.

The cosmetology salon at the Great Plains Technology Center allows cosmetology students the opportunity to put to practice the skills they've learned in class. At the salon, cosmetology students will conduct various services under supervision of instructors. The salon is open to the public from 8:30-10:30 a.m. and noon to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The cosmetology salon at the Great Plains Technology Center is a great way to get affordable services for your hair, skin and nails, while helping train future cosmetologists in our community!

The Lawton community is already impressed by the tech center's cosmetology salon.

On Wednesday, September 17, the Great Plains Technology Center posted on Facebook about the cosmetology salon being open, and the salon has already had a positive response from the community. Many people commented on the great prices and how they're glad students are getting a chance to practice in this way.

One commenter had already had their hair done at the salon and stated that they were happy with their haircut and that the students were "awesome" and had a "amazing instructor/mentor."
