Here’s How to Spend a Perfect Father’s Day at My House…

Get up, have coffee, turn on the TV.  Yep, that's it a perfect day for the dad in my house!  I don't know how many of you have the kind of Father/
Dad that loves nothing better than sitting in his favorite spot and just vegging in front of the Television (usually watching Gunsmoke, or any other old, old western he can find), and only moving to eat or use the restroom. It's what he would choose over just about anything else in the world.  Now, I really don't blame him, I've been known to watch a Hallmark movie or two in the last few years, but I do have other interests too.

Well, we've found a way for you to spend the perfectly quiet day that Dad longs for, and NOT have to watch Gunsmoke.  Here is a list of movies that Celebrate Dad's Day and are available on Demand on most TV providers, or rental companies like Redbox who supplied this list.

Now if none of these movies float your boat, there is always the next best thing. Gunsmoke is on the Inspiration Channel if your local provider has it. PS. Philo does. Or, if you are resourceful like me you can just buy, them on DVD. I think I got 5 seasons last year for Father's Day for my sweet husband. There is an asterisk though: He still gets the big, massive TV no matter what you are watching.

But does any of that even matter? As long as you are getting to spend some quality time with dear ole Dad. Who cares if it's in front of a TV, or at a lake, pool, or race track. The most important part of this special day is spending it with the Dad you love.
